An Anglers Delight

The 6 acres of grounds include a sensitively landscaped one acre Coarse Fishing lake which is well stocked with a mix of Bream, Roach, Perch and Tench with Carp dominant.

The 20 pegs are well spaced, two of which are suitable for disabled anglers. There is no closed season in this area, and holders of an NRA rod licence may purchase day tickets from the bar. For Trout fishermen there are many other venues within easy reach including Llyn Brenig which has an established and international reputation for quality fly-fishing.

Y Giler offers a small but very pleasant campsite and pleasant gardens beside the river Merddwr. The site is level, well drained, and is Camping and Caravan Club listed.

The site can accommodate up to 5 caravans and several tents. The site has a water point, shower, toilet, waste disposal and laundry facilities for your convenience, along with electric hook-ups for caravans.

The site enjoys panoramic views of Snowdon, Y Tryfan and Moel Siabod, and spectacular sunsets are common.
